Ever since Dominica had grown up, Emma had barely interacted with her. This was something she wanted to change now – and what would be the best way to do so? That’s right, learning how to ride.
Whoa, slowly! Don’t walk so fast!
D: I haven’t moved yet.Just saying.
It wasn’t too easy and took Emma quite a while to learn how that worked. Nevertheless she had a lot of fun. Dominica had to get used to it as well, but did so more gracefully.
Hold on, something’s not right here.
But as I said, it took her quite some time to learn, but she finally did it. From that day on there was less car riding, but going out with Dominica instead. It wasn’t much faster than a car, but not much slower, either! And so much better for the environment!
One of her trips took her and Dominica to the beach, where she met some new people. Strangely they wouldn’t like whatever topic she started to talk about, but pretend to be bored to death before continuing the conversation without her. She felt a little left out, but tried not to let them notice. After all, she was the new girl in town and couldn’t make the people like her instantly.
Nobody had noticed, but time had passed by pretty quickly. Although they had just moved, Cookie’d had a lot of time to age up. And now she was at a point where the Grim Reaper would come and take her with him.
But there was not much time to mourn – a birthday was due! Kat..Arb..one of the dogs was aging up again and turned into a senior. He/she didn’t look very different than before, just added some grey spots on his/her body. (I swear, I don’t know who that is! They look the same to me!)
One pet had gone, a new one arrived! A few days ago Emma had received a call by Hetty Lionheart, the local freak woman around here (this is what she heard, not what she thought! She just sometimes acts like a cat, that’s all.) who told her that her cat had given birth to a couple of kittens and asked her if she wanted one. Emma said yes immediately and went over to choose one. This is Eddie Lionheart, a kitten with an obsession for watching butterflies… at least he didn’t try to eat them.
Having a new member in the family called for a party! Emma invited everybody she knew, including Cruz Martingale (looked up his last name), they had been doing homework together the first day in school, remember him? Like Emma, he grew up, but never got rid of his “awesome” sunglasses. Somebody should tell that guy that the lamps are not going to burn his eyes. Seriously.
The next day Emma went out with Lina to the beach again. The trip with Dominica had been really nice, but it was time to bond some more with her oldest dog, the one she had known her entire life. The dog that had known Emma for almost its entire life!
Sadly this life was going to end there and then. The Grim Reaper had a busy week and decided to take Lina out of the Sim word. Emma was crashed, as she had just gotten over losing Cookie. It was too much for her to see Lina fly directly into heaven. Goodbye, Lina...
To get over her grief, Emma invited Hetty Lionheart over to her house. It was time to say thank you for calling about the kittens – Eddie was feeling very comfortable in his new family and everybody just loved him. Hetty was thrilled to see where her little pet would grow up and came over, just to be gifted with a picture Emma had taken of Eddie, so his previous owner would never forget him. The two women soon became friends.
It was a busy night – the other small dog (:-D) and Dominica both aged up that night! Both looked just like before, but they could tell they were older now.
I swear, the Grim Reaper soon will have his own chair on the table… here he came to take a straying cat who randomly played at my house. He just gave me a heart attack!
Dominica had felt a little left out for days. Emma had spent so much time mourning about Cookie and Lina that there had been no time for riding at all. She was lonely, so she decided to check out the horse park that was right around the corner. This turned out to be a great idea – everybody there just loved animals, especially horses. This nice guy (whatever his name is) instantly went to her and started brushing her body. So nice!
Tell me again why I went home?
Birthday time again! It was time for Emma to age up into a complete grown-up. For days she had felt those little aches that were all over her body, but she didn’t think they would mean she would get older. Nevertheless she wanted a new hair style and new clothes. I think she still is really pretty. Time to get yourself a man, I want children!
Author's notes: So sad to see all those animals die! :-( Fortunately she keeps wishing for new ones, otherwise her lifetime wish would be harder to achieve. (Still, soooo much work! Honestly, never choose that lifetime wish, it is really hard!)
And time flies by, she is already an adult by now. About this time my game crashed numerous times and - as I had already announced in the last chapter - I had to start all over again in AP. So some people are a little younger than at the end of this chapter and she doesn't remember anyone, but it is the same town. I am still thinking of an explanation for that within the story, but this will be hard.
Chapter title: An amazingly sad and beautiful song we sang in school choir. I don't know who wrote it, but it is great, really. Although it's not about dying, but more about going out into the world, doing your own thing, something like that.
Sad to see Lina go! I hadn't thought of the Reaper showing up for the pets... that must keep him pretty busy.
AntwortenLöschenSo does she need to have two of everything all at the same time to complete her LTW?
It's pretty cool to see Emma riding the horse, though. I can't wait until I get Pets!
I actually feel kike seeing the Grim Reaper every day now... taking the animals is done in a cute way - first he cuddles them and then a light appears somewhere above the animals, where he throws a toy in. The animal tries to catch it and jumps into the light.
AntwortenLöschenMakes it very sad though... :(
Yes, she needs two of everything at the same time to complete it. Which made it impossible for me to go on with buying dogs/cats/horses, because she had six at the house (which is the maximum). Now that Lina and Cookie died, I brought Eddie in and made it five - so there was room at that point.
I hope I will get another chapter out (I am a little rushing through things right now, but the weeks are always so busy...) and show you more.
Makes sense that they'd limit the dogs/cats/horses like they do with the people. Good to know!
AntwortenLöschenI'm glad that the pets die in a good way. It would get too sad to see them upset about it like some of the people are!
