Generation 1: Part 3. Books, Music & Style

After her amazingly interesting talk to Gobias Koffi (I swear, the only good thing about it was that she got her 500$ for finishing the job) Chrissi decides to head home. There are so many good books to read - how can she miss even one of them? Who needs friends, who needs conversations, when you can comfortably sit on somebody else's couch and read a book (that is not yours either).

Apparently the book wasn't that good. Or why does she turn the first chance to talk into a complain? Never mind. Sunny already knows that Chrissi is reaaally into books and at least pretends to be interested. Did I already mention that she is sooo sweet?

And that she is really getting into the whole guitar thing? Every time, she is getting better and by now is pretty good. She only mastered 30% of the skill until now, but still. And Chrissi is excited every time she listens to her! (Well, to be quite honest, she already did that on day 1. And we all know how a Sim's guitar sounds on the first day...)

She also gets louder every time. So loud that Chrissi can hear her through the wall, while she receives a phone call - her next job!! Aww, we are really excited. Well, at least I am. She is supposed to talk to Zelda Mae, a person she has never even heard of. But that is just fine, we will find out what she's up to. (Not today though, because Chrissi is getting tired, so she heads home the minute she talked to Zelda.)

Um...honey? Wrong bed. Just saying. Never mind.

Same here, but that is just a logical conclusion.

                                                            DAY 3

Same procedure as every day. At least they slept a little longer and didn't get up before 6 a.m. This is a good time to get up,since Sunny has to start work at 9 a.m. and Chrissi should get started on the research she is supposed to do on Pauline Wan. In order to find out what is wrong with her, she was told to go through her trash and mail (What??). Yeah, so that's what she will be doing today. But before that, we need a healthy, fresh breakfast. Hotdogs from Day One.

I knew there is something I wanted to do. Buy a dishwasher. Sorry...

After a quick shower Sunny leaves the house for her first job, dressed like a professional stylist. Love the coat! Unfortunately there is no one looking at her, so those "look at my style"-looks to the right are totally unnecessary. Never mind. I like it!

So excited!! Jared Frio wants a makeover that includes a new hairstyle, new clothes and new shoes. Well, that shouldn't be too hard. Just find something that matches his personality and he should be fine.

Or not. I like it, though.... And Madison in the background apparently likes it, too. Or why is she smiling? She can't possibly be laughing at Sunny...

That's enough work for the moment. Sunny decides to talk for the Tattoo Guy for the next few hours, totally ignoring potential clients. This way we won't be able to afford that dishwasher soon... don't you want some new clothes, too? What? Oh,right, you don't have to pay for them, you just have them all in your closet. This is so not fair.

In the meantime Chrissi managed to get away from the exciting book she has been reading all morning and went over to Pauline Wan's house. You remember her mission, the stuff about the trash and the mail? So this is what we are doing now. And she is even more amused than you would think. Not.

*giggles* No, sorry. I am not laughing at you, standing there in your investigator's coat, your purple tights and pumps, almost jumping into the trash can. I am really not. I am really..*bursts out into laughing*

In the meantime, Sunny decided that she has worked enough and goes home. Her shift does not end before 7 p.m.,but she doesn't care about that. It's not like anybody would talk to her about that, but the money she is missing out............... yes, I know, not my money.

Chrissi is finally finished going through the trash and proceeded to the mailbox. Something much..cleaner. What she discovers doesn't seem to be really nice, though. For the record: YOU chose that job. I would loved to have you as a journalist or whatever. This job means doing stuff like that. Your choice.

While Sunny went back to the guitar. She didn't even take the time to change, she just went straight to it.

After she ran all the way back into the city, Chrissi meets with Zelda Mae to report what she found out. Zelda seems to be happy about it, paying Chrissi. Second job finished, yay! Now she has some more time on her hands...what could she possibly do? That's right, reading. In front of the bookstore. For hours.

Until some not-so-smooth vibration takes her from the world of fantasy - her cellphone is ringing. The next job! This time she is being called by Nancy Landgraab and asked to meet with her at the local swimming pool. Anything for the money. The business meeting is reaaally short, basically Chrissi is asked to hack into the computer once again. This is getting boring already. But the second I thought that Chrissi would now probably go back home and head straight towards her computer, I had to admit: Boy, was I wrong!!

I am too surprised to even write. I thought, she was a little more like me, but apparently she is just like..well,herself. At least she is taking the small pool. This way it's almost impossible to drown... (and to meet other people, because it is TOO small) Still, she manages to stay in it for a few hours without being bored, before she realises that is pretty late already and hurries home.

While she is on her way, Sunny cleans the house again. I simply love her <3 She even cleans the toilet. There is no way she could ever leave - the day she moves out, total chaos moves in.

When she sits on the sofa for ages, waiting for Chrissi to come home, one could think that she wanted to talk to her about the mess Chrissi regularly makes. But no, they just talk about irrelevant things before they hop off to bed. Into THEIR beds, today they don't get mixed up again. Good night, sweeties. I already love you guys.

  2. Pauline Wan's house is one of my favourites in Sunset Valley :) Loved this chapter, especially the last picture of Sunny sitting on the couch. So cute!

  3. Well, so far I have only seen her garden - but that looks just beautiful! Maybe I'll have some Sim move in there at some point.
And the last picture was supposed to be a snapshot, but she actually stayed just like this for about an hour. Did not even move a little bit. Funny...
Hopefully I get to playing a little more and soon even manage to write posts about entire weeks! (Woow, big...)
