Generation 1: Part 15. Left outside alone?

While Chrissi and Stiles were out, still celebrating their first concert and having a few drinks, little Cella aged up all alone. Everybody had completely forgotten about her birthday, as it was such an exciting day! She turned out to have her father’s hair (just like her older sister Brianna), but had her mother’s eyes.

Chrissi and Stiles didn’t think about that at all. They were way too busy making new acquaintances and finding a new member for their band Dark Velvet (*waves at CourtneyHelen at this point – I got inspired by the names you gave your twins*). Manuel Landgraab seemed to be the right guy, as he was not a bad drummer and looked quite young – exactly what they wanted! Happily he accepted and told them he couldn’t wait to tell his mother! (Wait, didn't she...like..die two days ago?)

Could time really go by this fast? That was a thing Chrissi thought about the next morning, when she cuddled her not-so-small daughter after breakfast. She was really sorry for missing her birthday, but her career had just been a little more important to her on that evening. Now she really had to make it up to her by a lot of cuddling and talking to Cella.

This didn’t take very long, as they went out to the local discotheque the very same night. All of a sudden they felt like they had gotten their youth back! They could stay up and dance all night, have drinks and celebrate. It felt great, especially for Stiles who had thought about his age more and more. He was getting old and he felt it. So he wanted to spend every minute he had left with enjoying life as much as possible!

Dancing at night, family in the morning – they were getting on a routine that didn’t allow much sleep! At seven in the morning Cella decided that she’d had enough sleep and demanded attention. Chrissi tried her best to teach her to walk so that she wouldn’t have to stay in her crib the entire time. It was pretty hard at the beginning, but got better every day and soon Cella could walk across the entire room without tripping once. Great progress!

Talking about progress – it was already time for the next birthday! Brianna was about to age up into a teen. Her youth had been pretty good so far, she had spent a lot of time already working on her painting skill and had already mastered 50% of it. That was a good start! In addition, she was already working on her first book, which was supposed to be published in the near future.

But first she aged up. And grew into a beautiful young woman who developed the bookworm-trait. Not only was she looking very handsome, she was also really smart.

Finally, Chrissi had somebody to talk to – somebody female! Although Arvid was a really sweet boy, he just didn’t get what his mother tried to say to him. Brianna was a girl,too, and she mostly knew how their mother was feeling and why she was feeling that way. The two of them were a great team – even if Brianna looked a lot more like her father which made Chrissi a little sad sometimes.

She looked like her father and had the same interests – like music. Whenever Stiles went outside and had his guitar with him, he would play for hours. By now he was really good and often approached on the streets. Here he is addressed by Marty Keaton, who congratulates him on his songs. In his late days he really was becoming someone.

….while Chrissi worked on some old friendships, like the one with Cycl0n3 Hatch-Hart, who came over more and more. Chrissi had never realized that he was quite a bit older than her and therefore was surprised by his new hair color. As long as the stupid sunglasses remained where they were…. Never mind. They were getting along great, as friends. They didn’t talk about their affair once, it was all a thing of the past.

Instead they played together on the home studio they had built in their living room. It was big enough for the expensive yet beautiful piano, the drums and a second guitar. Cycl0n3 turned out to be a natural, which led Chrissi to asking him whether he wanted to join Dark Velvet. Now that they consisted of four band members, they decided it was enough. No more members! They had an amazing guitarist (Stiles), a quite impressive pianist and singer (Chrissi) and two great drummers (Manuel and Cycl0n3). Well, one of them could always animate the audience when he wasn’t needed.

Birthday time again! As they had forgotten about their last birthday completely, Chrissi felt like she had to throw Cella a little party. Only a few friends were invited, like Sunny’s family (who had aged up into an elder as well! Creepy…). And Tammie, Stiles’ daughter, who recently had finished high school and had started a career in the music business. She also had her hair cut (to be seen in the back, next to Brianna).

Isn’t she a cutie?She developed a good sense of humour, just like her mother (and siblings).

Author's notes: Wow, so three birthdays within a few days! I think Brianna and Cella aged up beautifully - it will be so hard to decide! Right now it is between the two of them for me. Arvid is cute, really, but somehow I don't connect with him. Maybe my mind changes. I should really get the second generation going, I guess! But for that, Chrissi has to fulfil her lifetime wish. She still has to gather quite some money, but as she always wants to buy new stuff, it is hard to increase their income! Probably the kids will have to stay in the house, bringing their money back home instead of starting a new life... I don't know. Anyway, I really have to work on the titles for the chapters...and think of some labelling. (And I have a paper for university due Friday, so there will be a lot of sims in the next few days.....)

Just because I am trying to get a more objective view - who would you prefer to be heir? Brianna or Cella?
