Generation 1: Part 7. Marriage&Baby! Not all in one though

During her pregnancy Chrissi reads a lot. Well, to be honest she reads a lot whenever she comes near a bookshelf, but she is especially fond with books about pregnancy. There are two books in the local bookshop which she both buys and then reads. She even wants Stiles to read at least one of them, but he thinks that her knowing all that stuff is enough. Whatever...

She also decides that her baby should get in touch with healthy food as soon as possible, now that she has lost that much weight. (And is putting it on again right now) So she starts cooking different meals - sometimes it's a salad, sometimes hotdogs, sometimes Mac and Cheese (although I don't really get how that is healthy at all). Oh, by the way: What you see there is not a apron, but a really pretty dress she puts on whenever she leaves the house. Apparently, the usual maternity clothes are too old-fashioned now...

The big day has finally arrived! All day Sunny and Chrissi have been cleaning the house, cooking different sorts of meals and going through their wardrobe. In the afternoon the guests arrive - there are some people I have never seen in my entire life, the girls don't know them either, still it's a blast. The moment of the vows is so incredibly romantic that a couple of guests (mostly women) almost start to cry. Honestly, it is such a great moment that I don't want to screw it up with some bad descriptions. Just get an impression yourself:

The party itself is really nice, too. The tables and chairs outside were a great idea Chrissi had - that way they could celebrate outside, without people constantly bumping into each other! The house would have been way too small for that. Behind the dining area there was a dancefloor they rented for the evening, combined with a pretty expensive stereo.

When everybody was finished eating the delicious wedding cake, they went off to dance. Completely understandable - that cake basically consisted of sugar! Everybody really had a great time and by the time the party was over, there was not one person without a big fat smile on his/her face.

Sunny and her husband Michael danced all night while the moon watched over them.

Well, to be honest they didn't dance ALL night, at they went off to bed at some point. There was a wedding night ahead of them that was going to wear them out :-D

The next day, Sunny was invited to a party that Vita Alto was throwing. Kind as she was, she invited Michael and Chrissi to come along (Stiles was at home, which didn't happen very often - he mostly was over at their house). What started out as a nice evening, soon turned into a total chaos when Chrissi felt some weird pain in her stomach. She was in labor! Within a few minutes she was on the way to the hospital, while somebody called Stiles to tell him the news.

Little Arvid was born in the middle of the night and instantly taken home. He is excitable (like his mother) and loves the outdoors.
Welcome, Generation 2!

Sorry, this chapter is rather short, but right now there is SO much going on...! If I hadn't make a cut right here, you would have seen the xxxxx and the xxxxx and even the xxxxxx (no, I am NOT telling what those events are right now). Stay tuned ;)

    Love the wedding! So gorgeous.

Do the strollers come with generations? They're so cute! Gah I haven't got any expansion packs!

  2. Well, so now I basically know everything that is going to happen in your legacy, too. ;)

Yes, they come with generations. They look cwute, but actually they are quite annoying - you can tell an grown-up to go for a walk with it and whenever there is a hill on the way (even a very, very small one), he takes the baby/toddler and walks with it until they reach the bottom. Then it goes back into the stroller. And so on...
(Have you checked online? I'm sure at least SOME of the expansion packs are rather cheap now.)

  3. I had a look online the other day, all the expansion packs are still the same price, $50 Australian dollars. I only looked at one store though, so I might check out some others. Thanks for the stroller info!
