Generation 1: Part 12. Betrayal

Life was going on in the new house, just as it had been in the old house. The biggest difference was that everybody had his or her own room – especially since Tammie had moved out. Usually Chrissi was taking care of Brianna more than of Arvid, so that Stiles had to jump in, but sometimes they switched for a few hours so that Stiles could spend some time with his gorgeous little daughter. It reminded him of the time he had with Tammie and took away some of the pain she caused by leaving.

Chrissi didn’t have much time to try and take Stiles’ problems away, as she spent her free time with meeting Cycl0n3 wherever she went. She sometimes even thought he was stalking her! One day, when they were standing in the park and talking (and flirting now and then), he told her that Emma had finally thrown him out. Which meant he was single again! Chrissi felt horrible for destroying a family, especially since he had two kids by now. She really never should have started that affair with him. Or continued it after her first kiss with Stiles. She really loved Stiles and never wanted to Cycl0n3 lose everything he had!

She decided to discuss this over dinner. Guess where that led to. Definitely not to them breaking up. Cycl0n3 apparently wasn’t exactly sad about what happened.

Stiles back at home lived his life as if nothing had happened. Chrissi always thought he didn’t know anything about her affair. But if you look at the very brown waffles in his hands, you can guess that there is something going on in his mind, that doesn’t let him concentrate on important things like food.

The only time he could get his mind off things was when he was painting. Standing on their porch, looking out on the beautiful ocean right across the street inspired him and gave him the peace he really needed. And although the tree on his picture didn’t exactly look like the palms out there,  the pictures perfectly fitted into the peaceful life that was going on out there.

Until he couldn’t take it no more. For weeks he had been hearing about Chrissi and Cycl0n3, making out in front of the restaurant, in the park, next to the movie theater… it was too much to take. He gave her an ultimatum that lasted five days – if she managed to show him that she only loved HIM, he would carry on their marriage. Otherwise the solution was divorce. Chrissi was devastated at first, but then decided that she really could live without Stiles as well. Why not get divorced and start all over?

The next days were awful. Chrissi and Stiles avoided talking whenever they could – instead they looked into different directions and walked past each other. It looked like they were back in elementary school – which was what the kids were thinking , too. They hated the silence back at home.

Arvid even stayed on the schoolground after classes were over, did his homework there and played on the playground the school owned. He rather was alone all the time than being in the middle of the awful atmosphere at home. So he rarely came home before curfew.

Sometimes, when he was too sad to be on his own anymore, he would walk over to a friend’s house and spend some hours there. Jerri Keaton and her family always welcomed him, offering him food and even a place to sleep. But Arvid didn’t want his little sister all alone overnight, so he left late in the evening, hurrying home, kissing his sister goodnight.

In the meantime, Chrissi decided that she should write a book about what she felt and thought. And as she was alone most of the time anyway, she had lots of free time on her hands. Her work as police officer didn’t take that much time and she had plenty ideas. Her first book was a novel called “between two stools” and a bestseller.

  

It was a warm Sunday when Stiles decided that the kids shouldn’t be suffering from the icy atmosphere back at home – so he took them to the local pool where they had a blast. Brianna took some of her toys, so she wouldn’t be bored (as of course she couldn’t go into the water) and the boys went swimming for hours. They had so much fun that they all forgot about what was going on at home. Until Stiles’ phone rang – it was Chrissi, telling him that the oldest Keaton boy, Percy, was on his way over. So they quickly packed up their things and left towards home, where Percy was already waiting.

As soon as the rest of the family was home again, Chrissi left. She couldn’t pretend to be a happy family right now. So she headed over to Sunny’s house, where a big surprise was waiting for her – Sunny by now had three children, too! Next to Blake there was now Dexter and his younger brother, Nicklaus, who had just been born. Chrissi instantly fell for Nicklaus (although she asked herself what medication Sunny had been on to choose a name like this).

The next day, Brianna aged up into a kid. For days it would have been her turn, but she just clung to her little bed and her teddy bear, refusing to age up. Now there was no time left and she didn’t have a choice. She developed a good sense of humor, just like her mother (and Sunny, who came over for a little birthday party).

Percy Keaton also came over again, this time directly after school. And as he was really tired when it got darker and darker outside, he asked Chrissi to read him a bedtime story. Something she hadn’t done for ages. And while she sat on Arvid’s bed, reading a story to Percy, she thought of all the good things that had happened since she founded the family.  She didn’t want to throw all of this away! Cycl0n3 had been this wonderful possibility to her, all the time. But that was over now – she didn’t want him anymore. She wanted Stiles and she wanted her children, more than anything else in the world! Now it was up to her to show Stiles that.

Stiles had been thinking. For the last few days, Chrissi had acted like there was no other man beside him. That was good, wasn’t it? Maybe she had really found out what she wanted. In that case he would instantly forgive, as he loved her from the bottom of his heart and didn’t want to lose her. When he ate the salad that she made the last evening – with extra peppers on it, just llike he always ate it – he made a decision. They would make it, together.

Author's notes: WOW! So much has happened! Stiles apparently found out about Chrissi and Cycl0n3, as he straightly went to confront her when she got home from work. For five days I have been seeing Chrissi's wishes - be mean to Stiles, get divorced... at the same time he had the wish to have another baby with her, which I cancelled as I needed the spot and didn't think they would make it. But then Stiles decided to give their marriage a second chance. Yay!! I would have hated to see them get divorced.And Cycl0n3 won't be a problem anymore - first of all, their romantic interest has disappeared (now they are best friends) and he has a new relationship and even is engaged already! (Which caused Stiles to wish to congratulate him on that :D )

Also, I am having trouble with my game - all of my sims refuse to age! For about a week the age hasn't changed at all (and yes, aging is activated in my game). I even think that nobody in the entire town ages up anymore. That really sucks! Do you have an idea how I could possibly fix that? I don't want to go to every person in town and make him/her age by using a cheat on him...
