After she’d had her first date with Norman Hatch-Hart, Cella realised she wasn’t so awkward at all. Somebody really liked her and it gave her a good feeling, as well as a boost in self-confidence. Finally she could go out and talk to people openly. Everybody noticed that she had changed a lot within a few days, which definitely was a good thing, wasn’t it? After being the youngest in the family and being the one who was alone all the time, she now went out and found friends. Her life had finally started.
Life sometimes sucked. Every now and then Chrissi thought about the old times, when she and Stiles would play a concert together, hearing the crowd cheer (although she wasn’t too sure whether that had been real or just a dream) and expressing what they were thinking in their songs. Now that Stiles had gone, she had to go on somehow. The band hadn’t been together for another practice ever since Stiles had died – although his free space had been filled. It just wasn’t the same any more. One evening, after she had a few glasses of wine, Chrissi went to the local pub they had played at first and sat behind the piano all evening, playing a few melodies and thinking back. It really wasn’t the same and she decided not to play in front of other people anymore. That part of her had died with Stiles.
For being cheered up a little she left the pub and entered an exclusive pub only celebrities had access to. Well, and normal Sims who had enough money to pay the doorman. There she sat, drank her cocktails which really weren’t too bad and gave her a nostalgic feeling of being young again, and watched the Sims around her dancing and enjoying her life. She wanted to be like that again – going out, having fun, living.
Which is another way of saying that she envied her daughters for going through life so happily. The first thing they did after getting up was joking around, making each other laugh. It seemed like their time had come now.
And although especially Brianna tried to involve Chrissi in her life as much as possible, it became obvious that she wasn’t really a part of it anymore. Brianna had her life as a writer, she went outside, talked to people, then went home and wrote about it. All Chrissi could do was sit and watch, as she often didn’t feel good enough to go out – the signs of age were approaching her more and more.
In the meantime Cella really learned what it meant to grow up into a woman who is desired by a man. Her dates with Norman were incredibly exciting to her. Flirting was something she was definitely not used to, but she really liked it. She liked it so much that she wanted to take their love interest one step further.
Behind Norman’s house she kissed him for the very first time. It was amazing and once she started, she couldn’t stop making out with him. Apparently she had finally found her soulmate – something she wouldn’t have thought a short time ago. At that point she had been convinced that nobody could possibly be interested in her, ever. That she couldn’t be interesting enough for other people, that she couldn’t be a good friend. Now was the time to make it right.
Brianna never had problems like these. She went out and met new people almost every day. Like this one day, when she left the restaurant after a delicious dinner and ran into a very colorful girl called Gina Berry. She instantly liked her – beyond her appearance there seemed to be a nice girl, who wanted to be discovered and not just be judged by her looks. And Brianna wanted that, too.
Meanwhile Chrissi decided one early morning to head over to her best friend in the entire Sim-world, Sunny, as she had a strange feeling that she wouldn’t be around forever. So she decided to spend the day with her – it could be their last. But in the middle of talking she received a phone call saying that she and her two oldest children had won a free vacation on some small island far away! A great opportunity to spend some quality time with Arvid and Brianna, and at the same time a good chance for Cella to prove how grown-up she really was already. So she said goodbye to Sunny, possibly for forever, and left.
Cella totally enjoyed the freedom. All she had to do was clean the house and go to school. Apart from that she could do whatever she wanted, whenever she wanted to. She went over to friends’ houses, staying there until the middle of the night, having fun.
But she also realized that life was not only fun – one evening Sunny’s husband Michael called and told her she had died just a short time ago. It had been quick, so that she didn’t have to suffer. Still it was a great shock and Cella immediately headed over to consult him. Friendly as she was, it was at least partly successful. She even wanted to stay the night, but Michael told her he was fine, that she shouldn’t worry and head home. So she did what he had told her. This was a good choice as her family was to return that evening and the house looked like a mess…
She ran through every room, throwing all the trash away, cleaning and putting everything away she had been using in the past few days. The moment she heard the taxi arrived outside, she threw herself on her bed, took a bed and pretended to have read all day long. That was really close…
The next day Brianna was invited to a party. The girl with the pink hair, Gina, wanted to celebrate her moving into town and moving into Tammie’s house (but just as roommates, not what you think) and invited everyone she knew. Which basically meant Brianna and two, three others. As Brianna had told Cella all about their first contact, Cella decided to come along and get to know this girl as well. A good decision – they really got along great and Cella totally wanted to become friends with her. This would be a person she could rely on. A person who could be there for her when she had problems she couldn’t tell her mother or her sister about. A real friend.
Time for some outtakes! :
Time for some outtakes! :
I guess that hurts a little...
Just like this.
Proof:Viola Sharpe, of the awesome The Hand Of Fate - Legacy, is in my game! (And is married to VJ Alvi. So far there are no babies, but you never know.)
Author's notes:SORRY that I still didn't reveal who is going to be heir. I will do so next chapter, I promise. This chapter has been a little sad at some points, not only because it dealt with life and death a lot, but also because I am not feeling too well at the moment. Still I wanted to go on with the story, so sorry about that... It had nice moments, though. The kiss between Cella and Norman was really cute. Unfortunately he has aged up now, so it will take some time before they can be together again.
So, next chapter will be heir reveal!
Nice chapter! So sad that Sunny died. Norman and Cella are so cute :)
AntwortenLöschenYay Viola! She has joined the music career, I see. I think Arvid is glitched in my game - Viola played chess with him at the park and now every time I send a sim to the park, I notice he is still there, playing chess, at the same table! I guess I could reset him, but he seems perfectly happy and at least I know where to find him!
That really sucked... I had gotten that information that she won't be around forever and since Chrissi wished to talk to her anyway, i sent her over to stay the entire day. But then came that phone call and she had to leave for her holiday...really sad.
AntwortenLöschenYes, Viola joined the music career :) and she already had a couple of promotions, I guess...no idea how she did that.
Weird that Arvid is just staying at the park the entire time in your game- but you're right, as long as he is happy... :D It's cool that Viola knows him now!
RIP Sunny! And poor Chrissi. That was so sad.
AntwortenLöschenI'm glad that Brianna and Cella each seem to be coming into their own, though.
Hope you're feeling better.
Although Chrissi is getting close to the end of her official lifespan, I keep hoping that she might fall in love again or something,so that she is happier. But she never rolls wishes to meet new people or anything, just to read or learn a new recipe....
AntwortenLöschenAnd yes, thank you :)
