For a very long time, nobody had thought that the household would ever gain 92000 simdollars and Chrissi would never be able to fulfil her lifetime wish. They had been stuck around 50000 for quite some time, but after Stiles had died and Chrissi had started fulltime working, more and more money had been coming in. And so, on a beautiful morning when Chrissi checked her purse and her piggybank, she had to find that she had earned 92005 dollars! Finally, her lifetime wish was fulfilled. This was a huge relief for her, as she was getting older and older. Now it was definitely time to be passing on the burden of the legacy to a chosen heir. But who should she choose? The ambitious doctor-to-be, Arvid? Or her creative and smart daughter Brianna? Or her youngest kid, virtuous Cella? It was a hard decision. But after some time it had been made.
While painting, Brianna thought about the things her mother had told her earlier that day. She was supposed to carry the legacy on to the next generation. She was an heir. She was someone special. In the next days she wanted to ask her mother about so much she didn’t know about yet. And although she was a little scared, she was also looking forward to it. She was completely and truly happy.
Until next afternoon, only minutes before Cella went to her prom – without a date. When Chrissi got up from the piano and wanted to go over to the bookshelf, she felt a strange thing coming over her body. It was like she was flying. And her body was so light all of a sudden… what was going on? Was she dying?
The appearance of the Grim Reaper confirmed it – Chrissi Voss, founder of the legacy and only 85 years old, was dying there and then. Her begging for another chance didn’t cause anything. The Grim Reaper didn’t even smile, but sent her to her grave. Goodbye Chrissi.
All of the kids were devastated. While Cella was at prom (which she couldn’t cancel, although she didn’t feel like dancing anymore), Brianna and Arvid tried their best to consult each other. But it didn’t really work. Their mother had left them.
In the middle of the night, when the prom was at its end, Cella left and headed towards home. She had been voted prom queen, which was something she wanted to share with her siblings. But she didn’t get very far, as all of a sudden she felt something very strange happening to her. It felt like she was growing enormously. It was her birthday!!! Within all the commotion, she had totally forgotten about that.
Not too bad. Because she later told her siblings everything about the great day and didn’t leave out one tiny little detail, it was obvious that she now had become dramatic.
The next day all of them had to get up really early and drive to the town hall – Cella was about to receive her diploma! She decided to wear the same strange cap her sister had once worn. (Weird?!) And although her mother couldn’t be there any more, Cella was sure she watched from above and was proud of her youngest daughter.
With only three persons, the house had become way too big. So Arvid and the girls decided to move to something a little smaller –they still wanted to live together for a while and each wanted their own room. This charming bungalow was exactly what they wanted.
Here you can find a view over the entire house. The roof isn’t done yet, otherwise you wouldn’t be able to look inside.
Everybody loved it! Cella instantly tried out the new instruments that had been delivered, playing the bass for hours.
Meanwhile, Brianna cooked some dinner in the brand-new kitchen!
And Arvid almost missed work because of the comfortable winter garden.
Still, changes were not quite finished. Arvid having aged up and Brianna close to her birthday, it was time for a major makeover! Brianna felt way younger this way.
Author's notes: So. It is done. Brianna is now officially heir of my legacy. It was really close, but in the end I liked her more, so I chose her.
Brianna starting her new life means Chrissi is gone. And she is really gone. Unbelievable!!! She was supposed to become 85 days old and died on day 85! Why couldn't she stick around a little longer? Losing her feels extremely weird...But now it is time for something new.
Something funny at the end...well, for you at least. After I was done with the house (I just remodeled it a bit) and had played the three siblings for a few hours, my game crashed. It crashed. And I hadn't saved it since Chrissi died. So they will have to move again and I will have to do everything again. This sucks so much. Still I try to catch up to where I was now, but it might happen that the house and/or sims look a tiny little bit different than they did before. So sorry about that!!! ( I sometimes just really hate my game...)
Oh that must be really frustrating! My game used to crash all the time when I first got it (Generations patch or something?) but it hasn't crashed for ages now. Don't worry, I don't care if the kitchen is slightly different or someone's dress is a different colour :) I probably won't even remember what it was originally!
AntwortenLöschenI'm so sad Chrissi died! But I guess now she is with Stiles.
You put that really nicely... you're right! Now she can be happy with Stiles again. *sniff sniff*
AntwortenLöschenOh, crashes suck! I've learned the hard way to save every time I change a house or someone has a birthday!
AntwortenLöschenSo sad to see Chrissi go, but she gets to be happy with Stiles now so that's all good. I'm glad she made her LTW.
Can't wait to see Brianna's story!
Me too!! I didn't think she would fulfil it in time, and now that she died just one day later, it was a really close call. And it would have sucked to start all over again, just because they didn't save enough money...
