Generation 2: Part 3. Hey, baby!

Brianna seemed to be on the hunt. Since her feelings for Rolando had been vanishing more and more, she looked for new potentials. Where was that knight in shining armor? Damn!

Well, somebody else had apparently found it… Brianna could watch a really cute scene between her good friend Gina Berry and her brother, Arvid! Had he finally given up on the elder women and was now looking for a longer relationship? When Brianna carefully asked him, he laughed and replied that he and Gina were just friends. Who exactly were you kidding, Arvid?

In the middle of the party a well-known girl turned up – Viviana Sharpe-Bluesky, Viola’s daughter. Apparently she had missed her mother who was at the party at Brianna’s house, so she just decided to come over late in the evening. I’m not saying anything about curfew.

She seemed to remember that herself. Weird kid.

And we even had another surprise guest – Magda (on the right) also got visited by her kid, who stayed a little longer than Viviana. She did her homework in the dining room and afterwards asked her mother to read her a bedtime story. In Arvid’s old bed.Um…. no, I’m not saying anything. I am quiet. Really.

And again, they found out on their own that their behavior was a little weird.

The next day there was a big get together in the park. Everybody who had some free time on their hands came and talked to neighbors, friends, strangers. Cella (on the right, with new hair once again) had an amazing time, while her sister stayed at the house to finish her latest novel, “Hell is just a place on earth”.

But as soon as it was finished, she came over to the park, because she really needed the fresh air AND wanted to meet new people as well. By people, she apparently meant men.

Guess who was also in the park (and no, I didn’t see that coming) – Rolando! They had been apart for a few days now and Brianna’d had some time to think about her feelings, about their relationship. And she was willing to give it another shot. More than that, she wanted to show him how he felt there and then. Fortunately, she had the great idea of inviting him home first – not that I would mind, but some sims are just not very nice when it comes to public testimonies of affection…

Time for a change! Brianna, right in the middle of her midlife crisis, decided that she didn’t like her old hair color anymore. She wanted something new, something bright, something shining. And short. So she ended up with this hair style and dress (the “short” was meant for the dress as well). And was so happy about the result that she instantly called Rolando and invited him over. After he had mysteriously left the other day, right after they had left the taxi, he had something to make up to her.

And he did.

You wouldn’t believe me how much he did if I told you. This afternoon led to many things, one of them Brianna totally being in love by now.

Another thing was sudden morning sickness. Mystery………….

Brianna decided to tell Rolando about her suspicion right away. It probably was not the waffles that had made the toilet her best friend for the entire morning. So she invited him over in the park and was…well, astonished when she saw an old man with grey hair (if the hair is even visible) coming over. She didn’t know he had celebrated his birthday the previous night and she was sad about him not telling her. She would have loved to celebrate with her. Nevertheless, when she looked into his eyes, she saw the young Rolando that she once fell in love with a long time ago. And that brought her to a decision that would change her life.

B: “Hold on, darling. Just one second, there is something I want to tell you.
R: “What is it? Come on, tell me. You know I hate surprises!
B: Trust me, you are going to love this one. See, here in my invisible pocket I have something….
R: “Wow, you’re right! I really can’t see that pocket! You are a mysterious woman!

B: “Rolando Wester, will you marry me?
R: “Yes! Yesyesyesyes! Oh my gosh, look at me, the pain in my legs – gone! I can jump up and down again! This is how happy you make me! Yes!!!

One amazing surprise was followed by the next one – Brianna indeed was pregnant with their first child!! She could not have been happier.

As soon as she had entered the house, she went to tell her sister. Cella was thrilled to hear that she was going to be an aunt soon! And as Brianna asked her to be her maid of honor, she almost broke down in tears. She was so happy for her big sister. Finally she had found the right man.

The pregnancy was pretty exhausting. More than one time Brianna would go into her room for a little nap, then get up at least partly refreshed and eat something.

When she wasn’t sleeping or eating, she worked on her books. In the last few weeks so many things had happened that had inspired her! Apart from the thriller she had started earlier, she finished three children’s books.

Right after the last word of the third book had been typed into the computer, Brianna went into labor. Nobody was home to help her, so she rushed into the hospital and left it hours later with her first kid.

Little Daisy was born around 2 p.m. on a sunny Friday. Although everything went extremely well, she looked unhappy – it was clear that Brianna now had a grumpy little artist on her hands!

Author's notes: YES! Generation Three is born! I was so worried because Brianna never rolled a wish to meet Rolando again, but after they coincidentally met in the park, she wanted to woohoo with him. Again. And when she met him in the park one day later, she rolled the wish to propose to him. Imagine my face! I had been waiting for that for sooo long. And now they are getting married!! (The only sad thing is that he is already an elder now) And little Daisy is my big hope for the next generation. Who knows, maybe there will be another child, I have no idea. I haven't played much further than this. But this is such a great relief.

Outtakes:

This guy spontaneously decided to walk right in the middle of my screen and stayed there.

A little meltdown in the morning.

I'm just glad that room is not small or anything.

  3. Thank you! I am always wondering how they manage to carry everything around with them. Cars, fish, food, books, instruments... And now the ring. There definitely was no space in that small dress for a ring, so I decided to put that into the story :D
